What is lip blush?
With lip blush, you can naturally enhance and contour your lips by adding a flush of color without the use of dermal fillers/injections.

This semi-permanent makeup procedure deposits pigment into your lip to enhance color, definition, shape, and balance asymmetry. Results can be customized to the client’s desired goals; so whether it be a sheer wash of color or your everyday lip products, lip blush is a diverse service created to fit many.

Lip blush is a two step procedure. Many clients will see amazing results with just one session but additional sessions may be necessary to add color and achieve desired results.

For darker lips, it is common to achieve desired results in three sessions.

How long will it last?
Results can last anywhere from 1-3 years depending on the client’s natural lips, the chosen pigment, skin factors, lifestyle factors, etc. Overtime, the color will fade if not maintained with touchups.

How is the healing process?
Most clients will experience light flaking and peeling between days 3-5. Your final results will reveal around Week 5. Our skin takes about 28 days to resurface a new layer of skin and pigment will not fully reveal until then. This is why we recommend waiting at least 6 weeks before your first touchup. Expect the color to slightly change as your skin and pigment heal together.

Will my lips be swollen?
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, flaking, and itchiness are all symptoms of a normal healing process. Although some degrees of these symptoms are inevitable, they can be managed by following the lip blush precare and aftercare instructions.
